Gray County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the office that created or holds the record.

Gray County Records Contacts

The Gray County Sheriff’s Office is the first contact for a local arrest, citation release, processing event, bond release at the office, or transfer record. Its official sources do not identify a local operating jail. If Sheriff records name Ford or Meade as the receiving jail, contact that jail separately for its intake and later release entry.

Ask for the booking or processing sheet, release or transfer entry, date and type of release, stated bond or court authority, destination facility, and any releasable processing photograph. Gray County may require a written request and may charge fees. Request a cost estimate because no current Sheriff-specific price list was found.

Fax: 620-855-3107
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Clerk can explain the local Kansas Open Records Act procedure but is not a substitute for the Sheriff or host jail as record custodian. The county states that most records will be produced within three business days or that a written explanation will be supplied if a request is denied.

The court holds the Gray County case record, including bond, sentencing, probation, dismissal, or release orders. Choose the route that matches the question:

  • For a released person or release record, the Home page gives the full custodian and records-request path.
  • For community supervision, use Parole & Probation and the named agency.
  • For recent local outcomes, consult the 24-Hour Release List page, which explains the absence of an official Gray rolling feed.
  • For a future date or county-jail alert, compare the Projected Release Date and VINELink Check resources.
  • For a specific custodian, use the facility pages in the footer and contact that office directly.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use KDOC’s KASPER search and Sentence Computation Unit.
  • For federal prison or recent ICE custody, use the official BOP or ICE locator rather than a Gray County record.
